This "20 YEAR ORIGINAL" glove replicates the very first design and construction of the Rival RS1 Pro Sparring Glove.
Initially released in 2003, the RS1’s quickly made their mark on the boxing industry, while laying the foundation for Rival’s success. Not only did these stunning gloves offer comfort, protection, durability and professional performance all in one, they also introduced Rival’s uniquely innovative Angled Lace Track System to the world. This dynamic X-shaped lacing system with a 15° angled lace track has revolutionized the way boxing gloves are designed, as well as providing the best fit and stability in a “lace-up” glove.
Designed with the professional in mind, and made of the highest quality full grain leather, the RS1’s truly are the pinnacle of all sparring gloves. And still, 20 years later, they remain unchanged and the choice of the pros everywhere!

Do Not
- Do not dry equipment in direct sunlight. UV exposure and heat can cause cracking, fading, and premature wear.
- Do not use a dryer or washing machine. Heat and excessive water can damage fabric, padding, adhesives, and stitching.
- Do not leave gear in hot cars or gym bags for long periods. Heat and trapped moisture can cause odor, bacteria growth, and material breakdown.
- Do not use a dishwasher for bottles or accessories unless clearly labeled dishwasher-safe.
- Do not apply Vaseline, petroleum jelly, oils, or heavy creams. These can damage leather, synthetics, stitching, and padding.
Do
- Always air-dry equipment in a cool, shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Always wipe down equipment after use with a clean, dry towel.
- Only use light, equipment-safe cleaners or anti-bacterial sprays designed for sports gear.
- Always store equipment in a dry place away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Use glove dogs and sports gear spray to help keep equipment fresh.
